On Sunday, 14 July, the third open-air triathlon championship – Triathlon Triumph 2019, was completed in the Valea Morilor Park in Chisinau. The sporting event was held for two days.
On Saturday, 13 July, the national children’s cup “Triathlon Triumph by BMW i” was held. On Sunday, the “Triathlon Triumph by BMW i” the adults competition took place, which was attended by both professional and amateur athletes from Moldova and abroad.
How “Triathlon Triumph by BMW i” went off
Participants of the “Triathlon Triumph by BMW i” championship competed in the following distances:
— Super Sprint: 400 meters swimming, 10 km cycling, 2.5 km running;
— Olympic: 1.5 km swimming 40 km cycling and 10 km running;
— Olympic Relay: 1.5 km swimming 40 km cycling and 10 km running.
